COOUP is a creator-powered commerce platform for Shopify brands. Creators share products they love; sales attribute automatically; COOUP settles creator earnings on the brand's behalf. This page is a single calm reference for evaluating the app end to end.

How to evaluate COOUP

Sign in with the test merchant — see the dashboard, products, orders, settlement.
Sign out, sign in with the test creator — open Discover.
Open any product → tap Share to generate an attributed link.
Open the shared link in an incognito window and verify the preview, the PDP, and a test checkout.

Test product

Sign in as the test creator, open Discover, and any LIVE product is valid for the flow. The seeded demo product is titled “Reviewer Demo — Aurora Tee”.

Share flow walkthrough

Sign in as the test creator → open /app (Discover feed).
Open any product → tap Share to generate the attributed link.
Open the share link in an incognito window and complete a checkout on the test storefront.
As the merchant, open /merchant → the order appears under Recent creator orders.
As the creator, open /app/earnings → the commission appears as Pending, then matures to Available after the hold window.

Settlement — Model B

Customer pays the merchant on Shopify. The merchant remits the commission gross to COOUP via Shopify Billing. COOUP keeps 10% (platform fee) and pays the creator 90% via Stripe Connect Express. Merchants never pay creators directly.

The merchant view lives at /merchant/settlement (Settlement). The creator view lives at /app/earnings (Earnings).

Scope and guidance

Creator surface: /app (Discover), /app/explore, /app/loved, /app/earnings, /app/profile.
Merchant surface: /merchant (Dashboard), Products, Orders, Settlement, Analytics, Brand, Billing.
Shopify approval scope: install → catalog sync → Spotlight (open products to creators) → attributed sales → settlement → uninstall.
Uninstall: the integration cleanly removes the COOUP app; in-flight settlement obligations are honored.
